BUTLER COUNTY, Pa.,None — Police in Butler County said a man attacked his father with a claw hammer while he helped the son's girlfriend move.
According to the criminal complaint, Joe Zaborowski was hit the face and head with the hammer by his son Travis Zaborowski.
Investigators said Joe Zaborowski was moving Travis Zaborowski's girlfriend out of the house the pair lived in. Police said after all of her belongings couldn't fit in a car, Travis Zaborowski came bursting into the house and immediately began attacking his father.
After the attack, police said Travis Zaborowski fled on foot.
Joe Zaborowski said his son was upset with him for helping his girlfriend move. Police said Travis Zaborowski was also upset because his father showed his girlfriend cellphone evidence that his son was cheating on her.
Joe Zaborowski suffered injuries to his face and head.
Travis Zaborowski is facing aggravated assault, burglary, recklessly endangering another person, simple assault and harassment charges. He is currently in the Butler County Jail.
