HERMITAGE, Pa. — An 18-year-old woman was shot and killed by her roommate Monday in Hermitage, according to WFMJ.
Olivia Maria Gonzalez was pronounced dead at her residence with gunshot wounds to the head and torso.
According to WFMJ, Hermitage Deputy Chief Adam Piccirillo said Gonzalez's roommate 21-year-old Dustin Nichols called 911 and said he shot his girlfriend, and said he would surrender when authorities arrived. Nichols was waiting on the front porch when police arrived.
Nichols was taken into custody and charged with first-and third-degree murder, WFMJ reports. His arraignment is pending.
