WESTMORELAND COUNTY, Pa. — Police are investigating a fatal accident that took place on Route 66 in Hempfield Friday.
Robert Yednak Jr., 32, was killed after being hit by a vehicle while attempting to cross Business Route 66 with another person, according to the Westmoreland County Coroner.
A Honda Civic heading north on Route 66 struck both individuals.

Yednak was pronounced dead on the scene. The status of the other individual and the driver of the vehicle are unknown at this time.
