Police: Woman attacked by her own dog in Bloomfield

PITTSBURGH — Police said a woman was attacked by her own dog in Bloomfield Wednesday.

The woman was bitten on her arms, legs and chest by an English bulldog, according to police.

Police said the woman's husband had to pull the dog off her.

The couple has four dogs.

"Every time you see them walking they always have them under control.  I really can't explain why the dog would snap like that," said neighbor Tiara Easley.

Police had to Taser on one of the dog.

The dog that attacked the woman will be tested for rabies.
