Necropsy results have verified a sick cat that veterinarians were forced to euthanize was poisoned with antifreeze.
Officials said the Washington County Humane Society will be investigating.
The cat’s owner had rushed his pet from the Glen Meadows Mobile Home Park in Amwell Township when the cat became ill. The owner, Michael Smith, took his pet to the Fix ‘Ur Pet Animal Clinic in North Strabane. Veterinarians tried to save the cat, but could not.
