3 more people being monitored for coronavirus in West Virginia

MORGANTOWN, W.V. — Three more people in West Virginia have been quarantined because of the coronavirus.

They are from Morgantown, and they’re not showing any symptoms, but visited China recently.

All three are self-quarantined.

Two other people in Wheeling are also being monitored after traveling to Asia. Nationwide, 12 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed. None of those cases is in West Virginia.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is working to expand testing which would allow doctors across the country to quickly diagnose cases.
