PITTSBURGH — The 66-year-old woman hit while crossing the street on Shady Avenue Wednesday night has died.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office said Margery Pelled died at the hospital Thursday.
Channel 11 has learned that Pelled is the aunt of Pittsburgh City Councilman Corey O'Connor.
Investigators said Pelled was crossing the street in a crosswalk around 9 p.m. when she was hit.

Police told Channel 11 that they do not anticipate charges against the driver.
