Bear spotted roaming neighborhood in Washington County

CECIL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A black bear was spotted roaming in a neighborhood in Washington County, Cecil Township police said.

The bear sighting happened in the Cherrybrook housing plan off Morganza Road, and the Pennsylvania Game Commission was notified.

People are being asked to keep any potential food sources, such as garbage and bird seed, to a minimum.
