PITTSBURGH — People were being told to avoid Terrace Street in Oakland for a time as a bomb squad robot inspected a suspicious package.
The package was found in a parking garage at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
Police shut down three blocks in every direction as a precaution before the all clear was given about 20 minutes later.
Investigators said the contents were not suspicious.

The Bomb Squad has determined the contents of the package to be benign and no danger to the public.
