‘Canopy of Color’ coming to Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens

PITTSBURGH — Warmer days are just around the corner, and soon you’ll be seeing those spring flowers blooming across the area.

But if you just can’t wait, you can see tens of thousands of spring blooms at the “Spring Flower Show: Canopy of Color” at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.

The exhibit will feature tens of thousands of flowers, including hydrangea, petunias, daffodils, tulips, hyacinths and more.

Take a stroll beneath 100 colorful umbrellas as rain curtains cast April Showers in the Sunken Garden and a family of topiary bears is flying kites under a sky of blue hydrangea in Palm Court.

The exhibit starts Mar. 13 and runs through Apr. 11.
