SANDUSKY, Ohio — Kick the cash if you’re heading to Cedar Point this summer. Officials announced the popular park is going cashless.
In a message posted on the park’s website, officials said all transactions inside the park and its surrounding properties will be cashless. They called the digital payments faster, easier and safer.
The park will accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express credit cards along with Apple Pay and Google Pay. If you don’t have a credit card, you’ll be able to head to special kiosks around the park to convert your cash into a prepaid card with no fee.
