SANDUSKY, Ohio — It’s still not clear when Cedar Point might reopen, but plans are in the works that include safety changes because of the coronavirus.
To start, the amount of people allowed in the park would be limited and social distancing would be required on rides and in restaurants, cleveland.com reported.
According to cleveland.com, the changes were outlined by Cedar Fair CEO Richard Zimmerman.

The amusement park is looking at virtual queuing that would involve guests making reservations to ride certain popular rides, that way lines can be kept to a minimum, cleveland.com reported.
At dining venues, cashless transactions would be encouraged.
Zimmerman said there would be enhanced cleaning measures at the park, as well as the addition of areas for people to wash and sanitize their hands, according to cleveland.com.
In Pittsburgh, steps are being taken to keep public pools and Kennywood safe when they reopen.
