SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. — Charges have been dropped against a Slippery Rock Middle School math teacher who was accused of inappropriately touching four students.
State police charged Robert Willison with sex crimes in October 2018.
“We just could not prove this case beyond a reasonable doubt,” said Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger.
Channel 11 reached out to Wilson for comment, but could reach him.
His attorney gave us a statement saying, “My client has vehemently denied the allegations and steadfastly maintained his innocence throughout the course of this matter...He would never violate the duty and trust placed in him as it relates to our children. I have always believed in my client’s innocence.”

Goldinger said Wilson remains suspended without pay from the Slippery Rock School District. He is not teaching anywhere at the moment.
The prosecution said time has not been on its side.
“It’s been 18 months. Obviously that’s a long time, and we really didn’t want to make these girls get up on the stand and go through this again,” Goldinger said.
Wilson’s lawyer would not tell us if Wilson will be trying to get his job back or try to teach somewhere else.
