Child hit by vehicle in Pittsburgh neighborhood

PITTSBURGH — A child was injured Friday night when the boy was hit by a vehicle in the Lincoln-Lemington neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

Police said the incident occurred in the 1300 block of Paulson Avenue around 8:10 p.m.

When first responders arrived, they were directed to the boy sitting on the road, with a leg and head injury. The boy was taken to Children’s Hospital in serious condition.

The driver remained on the scene, and was cooperative during the investigation.
