PITTSBURGH — The general election is less than a month away, and athletes and celebrities with connections to Pittsburgh are encouraging people to get out and vote.

Former Pittsburgh Steeler Franco Harris and Mister Rogers' widow, Mrs. Joanne Rogers, encouraged people to get out an vote. They also offered step-by-step instructions on how to vote and send in your mail-in ballot.

Pittsburgh native Jeff Goldblum along with his Jurassic Park castmates Laura Dern and Sam O’Neil reminded people to get out and vote.

Former Pittsburgh Pirate, Andrew McCutcheon tweeted a video showing people how to vote by mail-in ballot and encouraged others to get the word out.

Pittsburgh’s Michael Keaton also raised voter awareness by reminding Pennsylvania voters how to mail in their ballots.
