Deputies arresting a man for a probation violation stumbled upon a large drug bust in Carnegie on Thursday morning.
The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office was looking for Damian Falchetti, 32, for violating his probation on a 2017 drug conviction.
They found him in a home in the 600 block of Lookout Street, and saw drug paraphernalia throughout the residence while they searched for him inside, according to the sheriff’s office.

They arrested Falchetti and got a search warrant for the home.
They ended up allegedly seizing cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy, marijuana edibles, LSD, marijuana, MDMA, mushrooms and other unidentifiable pills. They also allegedly found a large amount of cash, four digital scales, a safe, two lockboxes, a money-counting machine, a revolver and several cellphones.
Falchetti is in the county jail and awaiting arraignment on charges related to the seizures.
