Duquesne Incline closing for maintenance

PITTSBURGH — The Duquesne Incline is closing for three days to undergo maintenance.

The Society for the Preservation of the Duquesne Heights Incline will close it on Tuesday and it will reopen Friday.

Port Authority will operate a shuttle bus from the upper station of the Duquesne Incline to the upper station of the Monongahela Incline throughout the duration of the work, according to a news release.

The cars on the Duquesne Incline are 141 years old.
