HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A family in Hempfield Township is fighting to keep their pot-bellied pigs as pets.
The Fait family got a letter from the township in April, saying the pigs had to go.
Township officials claimed the pigs violate a township pet ordinance.
The Faits are now fighting back.
Township officials will vote on the pigs' fate next month.
