BRADDOCK HILLS, Pa. — The apartment where a woman lives with her two children was badly damaged by a fire Thursday morning in Braddock Hills.
Firefighters were called about 6 a.m. to the Brinton Manor Apartments, where the fire broke out in the kitchen of one of the units, officials said.
The woman and her children were not home at the time, officials said.

No one was hurt, but officials said the damage to the apartment was extensive and the family needed to find somewhere else to stay.
Neighbors said they’re grateful for the firefighters who continue to respond to emergencies during the coronavirus outbreak.
“I commend them. I really do. I commend them, being what we’re under with the virus,” Regina Moore, of Braddock Hills, said.
