Half of Pennsylvania’s population has received a first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine

PENNSYLVANIA — As of Monday, Pennsylvania has administered first doses of Covid-19 vaccines to 50.3% of the population.

Across the state, 5.4 million people have received at least their first dose, and the state now ranks 10th among all 50 states for first doses administered by percentage of population.

In total, 8.6 million total vaccine doses have been administered as of Monday, leaving 3.5 million people fully vaccinated. The daily average of people being vaccinated in Pennsylvania is 88,000.

There are still 1.8 million people in the state who are partially vaccinated.
