Jobs to help unemployed Pennsylvanians available at state call centers

Pennsylvanians who are looking for work during the coronavirus pandemic could get a job helping the unemployed.

The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry is hiring workers to help with the incredible surge in unemployment claims.

Temporary full-time positions as intake interviewers for the state’s unemployment call centers are open in Allegheny, Indiana, Erie, Berks, Blair, Dauphin and Lackawanna counties. The jobs pay from $17.73 to $26.45 an hour.

More than 1 million Pennsylvanians have filed for unemployment.
