Juice ingredient spills onto Pa. Turnpike after 2 tractor-trailers crash

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A juice ingredient spilled onto the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Cranberry Township when two tractor-trailers were involved in a crash, officials said.

The crash was reported about 2:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes in the area of mile marker 28.

When the trucks collided, one of them spilled the juice ingredient it was hauling and the other struck the bridge being built on Freedom Road, officials said.

No one was hurt in the crash.

Traffic is getting by in one lane.

Officials from the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission said around 5:30 a.m. that it could be another four hours before the crash is cleared.
