OHIO TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man is accused of exposing himself in a busy shopping plaza in Ohio Township.
According to police, David Whitten, 75, exposed himself to women and girls Wednesday in the Sam’s Club off Mt. Nebo Road.
Employees of the store scared him off.
"He exited the Sam's Club, went across the parking lot, down over a pretty good size hill across the road, down over another hill and then he worked his way along the hillside for about a quarter mile," said Chief Norbert Micklos with the Ohio Township Police Department.

Ohio Township police led the search and were quickly joined by Pennsylvania State Police, Allegheny County Sheriff's deputies and three neighboring police departments.
As police scoured the surrounding hillside, they finally got a tip from a motorist that Whitten was hiding behind a business on Lowries Run Road in Ross Township, crouched down in the creek.
"Considering the heat and the terrain I was surprised (he made it that far)," Micklos said.
Whitten has no criminal record and was not previously known to police; however, Channel 11 has learned he will likely face more charges because police believe he did something similar at a Costco in Butler County.
Micklos said, "We have received some information and video that a person fitting this description could be involved in another incident in Cranberry Township."
Police said during their interview, Whitten allegedly confessed.
He is charged with indecent exposure and open lewdness.
