An Oil City man is facing charges after he allegedly assaulted a police officer who tried stop him from throwing concrete blocks into a busy road.
Jordan Johns was arrested on Banksville Road in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night after police said they caught him walking in the inbound lanes of traffic while carrying red lawn signs.
Police said they were trying to get him off the road when he threw a large piece of concrete into traffic.

Officials said Johns then jumped on the roof of a patrol car and taunted an officer, before jumping down and punching the officer in the arm. He then allegedly tried to open the doors of a Sunoco gas station, but it was closed, so he repeatedly threw himself against a glass door.
Johns faces several felonies including aggravated assault and propulsion of missiles.
