DUQUESNE, Pa. — A motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital after losing control of his bike and crashing into a Port Authority bus in Duquesne.
The accident happened around 9 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Route 837 (Duquesne Boulevard) and Library Road.

Police said the driver of the motorcycle, a 35-year-old man, was driving in the same direction as the PAT bus after it had turned right from Library Road onto Route 837 when the bike collided into the back of the bus.
The man lost control of the motorcycle, it slid across all four lanes and stopped on the other side of the highway. He was taken to the hospital via ambulance and was listed in stable condition.
It’s unclear if anyone on the bus was injured, and the road surrounding the accident was closed for about an hour.
