New hours for fall, winter at Carnegie Science Center

PITTSBURGH — There are new hours for the fall and winter at the Carnegie Science Center, including the Highmark SportsWorks and The Rangos Giant Cinema.

All facilities are closed on Tuesdays, except during the holiday weeks of Dec. 22 and 29. Sundays from 10 a.m. to noon are reserved for people who are most at-risk, including seniors, visitors with disabilities, and those with compromised immune systems.

Starting Tuesday, Sept. 8, the facility’s hours will be:

• Sunday: 10 a.m. to noon for at-risk population
• Monday, Wednesday through Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All tickets sold are for a timed entry every 30 minutes. The building is limited to 15% capacity to allow enough space for social distancing.
