PITTSBURGH — According to county officials, a number of voters reported receiving the wrong mail-in ballot in Allegheny County.

County officials tweeted they were “working to determine what happened and how many voters may be impacted.” About 20 voters have reported the wrong mail-in or absentee ballot packets. Voters who are impacted are asked to contact the Elections Division via email at electionscontact@alleghenycounty.us or phone at 412.350.4500.

County Councilmember Sam DeMarco sent Channel 11 a statement:

“At a time when concern about the integrity of our electoral process is already high, these errors do not engender public confidence in the system. We must do better and we shall. We will look to uncover how these errors occurred and correct them.”
