Online petition started for SNL to cast Jeff Goldblum as ‘The Debate Fly’

PITTSBURGH — Some fans are working on something that will change the world. In this case, a fly found it’s way to the head of Vice President Mike Pence during the most recent debate.

An online petition was created by fans asking Saturday Night Live to cast Pittsburgh-native Jeff Goldblum as “The Debate Fly."

The petition says Goldblum “once played a fly” and that “it only makes sense that SNL should cast” the Jurassic Park actor.

As of Friday evening, the petition has 22 signatures. The petition may just find a way.
