A multi-vehicle crash shut down the outbound lanes of the Parkway East early Tuesday morning.
The crash was reported shortly after 3:30 a.m. near the Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) interchange.

Emergency dispatchers said one person was taken to a hospital. The person’s condition was not immediately available.
The accident was cleared by 5:30 a.m.
