Pittsburgh has a new city councilwoman.
Democrat Erika Strassburger won 64 percent of the vote in the City's 8th District in the East End.
Strassburger replaces councilman Dan Gilman who resigned to serve as Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto's Chief of Staff.
