PITTSBURGH — Amazon Key, which allows packages to be dropped off inside people’s homes, is available in Pittsburgh starting Wednesday.

The program is exclusive to Amazon Prime members and allows secure access for in-home delivery, service appointments and guests.

Customers can track and watch deliveries and services in real-time using the Amazon Key app. Each time a delivery driver requests access to a customer’s home, Amazon verifies the delivery and the Amazon Cloud Cam starts recording when the door is unlocked.
