The chase started about 12:40 a.m. and lasted for about 20 minutes, officials said.

According to a criminal complaint, the chase began after a woman said Bryan Alarcon was trying to take their infant daughter.

Alarcon, 18, was spotted in Kennedy Township and police tried to pull over his car, but he didn’t stop, the complaint said. The chase continued through Kennedy Township and went into Robinson Township.

Several police cars were seen in Carnegie on the busway off the Parkway West when the chase wrapped up.

Robinson Township police arrested Alarcon and took him to police in Stowe Township.
