Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto asked President Biden for job after losing primary election

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto said he got a call from President Joe Biden following his loss in Tuesday’s Pennsylvania primary election.

Peduto said on social media he also asked Biden “if he knew anyone who was hiring.”

State rep. Ed Gainey beat Peduto from the Democrat nomination for Mayor of Pittsburgh in the primary.

Gainey is running unopposed.
