Police investigating after man shot in arm on Brighton Road

PITTSBURGH — Police are investigating after a man was found shot in the arm along Brighton Road.

Officers were called around 7:30 p.m. to the 3500 block for a Shotspotter alert. First responders found a man who had been shot and they applied a tourniquet. The man was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

Investigators said there were no other injuries and no suspect descriptions. The Violent Crime Unit is investigating.
