PITTSBURGH — If you’re looking for a Hawaiian spin on a sandwich topped with French fries and coleslaw, Primanti Bros. and King’s Hawaiian are teaming up.
Available through the end of April, “The King” features capicola, spicy candied bacon, Swiss cheese, tomatoes, French fries, coleslaw and honey Dijon mustard on King’s Hawaiian Sliced Bread.
The new sandwich is part of King’s Hawaiian’s new project to collaborate with famous sandwich companies across the country. The company is working with a deli in LA on a Reuben and a barbecue joint in Kansas City on a pulled pork sandwich.
