SALUTING VETERANS: Here’s where you can get free meals and deals on Veterans Day

PITTSBURGH — On Wednesday, we salute and celebrates veterans and active-duty military members.

Some restaurants and businesses are offering free meals and deals to honor those who have served our country.

LOCAL/REGIONAL BUSINESSES:

SHEETZ: Sheetz invites all veterans and active duty military personnel to enjoy a free half turkey sub and a regular size fountain drink. Sheetz locations that offer car washes will also provide a free car wash to veterans and active duty military. Military ID or proof of service must be presented to qualify. BETHEL BAKERY: As a way to say thanks to all active duty and veteran service members, Bethel Bakery is offering a free donut and coffee.

BUBBA’S GOURMET BURGHERS: Military veterans and active-duty personnel will be offered a free classic burgher with fresh cut fries - with no purchase necessary - at all three locations in Canonsburg, Washington and Triadelphia, West Virginia.

PRIMANTI BROS: Active and retired military can enjoy a free PrimantiBros. Almost Famous sandwich in honor of their service to America. DUNKIN': As a way to salute veterans and active duty military members, Dunkin’ is offering a free donut of your choice. Limit one per guest.

BOB EVANS: On Veterans' Day, Bob Evans is providing a comforting meal to veterans and active-duty military. On November 11, they’re offering a special menu of seven homestyle favorites available to veterans and active duty military FREE at their local Bob Evans Restaurant.

BONEFISH GRILL: All service members, veterans and first responders simply have to present their ID for a 10% off discount all day, every day.

KRISPY KREME: For all veterans, locations are offering a free doughnut of their choice and a cup of coffee on Veterans Day.

LOVE’S TRAVEL STOPS AND COUNTRY STORES: Purchase one roller griller item and get a second free. Fountain drinks or coffee of any size are also free for veterans.
