PITTSBURGH — Baum Boulevard was closed for a time between Liberty Avenue and South Aiken after police said a skateboarder was hit by a vehicle.
During the investigation, police said they learned two males were riding electric skateboards when one of them was hit.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. Investigators said a doctor was walking nearby when the crash unfolded, and was able to help the victim until first responders arrived.
