Some Fox Chapel students will return to full-time, in-person instruction

FOX CHAPEL, Pa. — Some students in the Fox Chapel School District will soon return to full-time, in-person instruction.

The school board voted Monday night to bring students in kindergarten through fifth grade back to class starting Nov. 5.

The district had been operating on a hybrid model since the beginning of the school.

“The administrative team would like to revisit adding days of instruction to middle school and high school level in the near future. We felt this was the next logical step for us to take and then we can continue to move forward,” said Fox Chapel Superintendent Mary Catherine Realjac.

There have been 12 cases of COVID-19 among students and staff at Fox Chapel Area Schools.
