WILKINSBURG, Pa. — Police are searching for a suspect after a 16-year-old boy was shot and killed in Wilkinsburg.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Laketon Road and Robinson Boulevard, according to investigators.

First responders found Marcus Wells Jr., 16, suffering from a gunshot wound at that scene, but he died from his injuries.
The details surrounding what led to the shooting are still unclear. Police did not provide any information regarding a suspected shooter.
During the investigation by Wilkinsburg police and Allegheny County police, detectives obtained security camera footage of the suspected shooter while he was “engaged in the assault.”
Anyone with information on the suspected shooter is asked to call police.
