NEW STANTON, Pa. — A teen charged with killing his mother and younger brother when he was 14 years old was sentenced Tuesday after he pleaded guilty but mentally ill.
Police said Jacob Remaley, now 18, shot his mother, 46-year-old Dana Remaley, and his 8-year-old brother, Caleb Remaley, in November of 2016. They were found in their beds at their home in New Stanton.
Jacob Remaley’s defense team has argued the teen had multiple personalities and one of them, called “Wrath,” told him to kill his mother and brother.
