Teen runs to nearby house after being shot in Pittsburgh neighborhood

PITTSBURGH — A teen ran to a nearby house after police said he was shot early Monday in the Brighton Heights section of Pittsburgh.

Police were called near the intersection of Massachusetts and Davis avenues just after midnight.

There’s a school on one corner and a funeral home on another.

Someone shot the teen in the knee on Davis Avenue, and the teen ran to a porch on Massachusetts Avenue and asked for help, police said.

The teen was rushed to the hospital in stable condition.
