PITTSBURGH — The trailer for a Netflix series filmed in Pittsburgh has been released.

“The Chair,” starring Sandra Oh was filmed in Pittsburgh, including the city’s Lawrenceville neighborhood, earlier this year.

The series follows the demands and high expectations of Oh, as she becomes the first woman of color to become chair of a failing English department at a major university.

Warning: Trailer contains adult language.

She's tearing up the syllabus. Sandra Oh is The Chair. Only on Netflix August 20th.
