SPRINGDALE, Pa. — A tractor-trailer carrying bricks and building supplies was hit by a Norfolk Southern train in Springdale Friday afternoon.
According to our partners at TribLive.com, the crash happened in the 100 block of Colfax Street. Borough fire chief Kevin Wilhelm said the truck was hit near the PPG Coating & Resins plant around 4 p.m.
There were no injuries.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash, and if the warning lights at the railroad crossing were flashing at the time of the collision.
