UNITY TWP. — A Unity man is facing charges after police say he refused to wear a mask while shopping at a local grocery store, and threatened the manager.
Pennsylvania State Police said William A. Muir, 41, was charged with disorderly conduct and harassment, as well as several traffic citations after the incident in the Giant Eagle parking lot at Laurel Mountain Plaza around 4 p.m. Friday.
According to our partners at the Trib, troopers were dispatched to the store after receiving reports of a disturbance.
When asked to put on a mask, police said Muir became irate, threw his shopping cart to the ground and threatened to fight the store manager.
He then left the store and drove off and made obscene gestures toward the manager.
Muir was cited for driving without a license, driving on a suspended license and two counts of driving a vehicle not properly inspected, according to the Trib.
