Trade in unwanted gift cards for Sheetz gas, food and more

PITTSBURGH — Did you get some gift cards for Christmas that you know you’ll never use? You can trade them in for things like gas and food at Sheetz.

Sheetz officials said there are over 200 merchants and restaurants accepted with their program.

Customers can visit this website, plug in the merchant name and the balance on the card to see how much they would receive in exchange for their gift card. Once you exchange a gift card, you’ll be emailed a Sheetz eGift Card that can be used online or in store.

It will not necessarily be a 1:1 exchange, and Sheetz officials said the prices will be different based on the company and market price.
