FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. — At least eight reports of Christmas decorations being vandalized have been taken since the weekend in Masontown, Fayette County, police said Tuesday.
Authorities said vandals hit about three streets in Masontown, cutting their Christmas lights and slashing inflatable decorations.
“Originally when I saw them down, I thought a fuse had blown because that happened all the time, but then I went out and checked and they were all cut,” homeowner Kaitlyn Rozak said.
Masontown’s police chief said so far, none of the homes that had damage had any surveillance cameras, but officials believe there could be damage that hasn’t been reported yet.
Anyone who may have caught the vandals in the act on camera is asked to contact Masontown police.
