Woman Accused Of Abusing Her Children In Store Talks To Channel 11

KENNEDY TOWNSHIP, Pa.,None — On Tuesday, Channel 11 spoke with a woman who faces charges for allegedly abusing her children at the SHOP 'n SAVE in Kennedy Township.

"The stuff that people are putting against me isn't even close to being true," said Trina Ebore of McKees Rocks.

Police said that several customers reported seeing Ebore slap, shove and curse her young children.

Shoppers told police the incident happened after the woman's 11-month-old and 2-year-old boys cried out for food.

"Everybody disciplines or chastises their kids differently. I mean, everybody doesn't have the same guidelines," said Ebore.

"This is a woman who works and has a full-time job with two kids. She keeps in best of shape and was there to get milk for them so they would go to sleep," said attorney Blaine Jones.

Ebore's preliminary hearing is just weeks away. In the meantime, she retains custody of her children.

"I don't see anything wrong with chastising. As long as you're not leaving marks or bruises, I don't see what the big deal is," said Ebore.
