MIAMI — The NFL Players Association is reportedly scheduled to meet following Super Bowl LIV to vote for or against a 17-game regular-season schedule that would start in 2020, according to ESPN.

Player representatives from every NFL franchise, along with the NFLPA executive board, are set to go over a 10-year labor contract at an undisclosed location.
ESPN reports the NFLPA picked a group of player agents Thursday in Miami to discuss what could happen if the players reject the deal. It could lead to a potential lockout and work stoppage in 2021 when the current collective bargaining agreement expires. Those player reps were “just about unanimous” in opposing adding an additional regular-season game.
