PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has mulled retirement before, but according to a new report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, it doesn’t like 2020 will be his last season.
Citing “league sources,” Schefter said Roethlisberger, 38, wants to play next season and doesn’t intend on retiring “barring a change of heart.”

The Steelers’ franchise quarterback has one more year left on his current contract. He missed all but two games in 2019 with an elbow injury, but has started all 13 games so far this season.
According to ESPN, Big Ben plans on putting on the black and gold for his 18th season unless something drastic changes.
After missing the playoffs the last two seasons, the Steelers already have secured a postseason spot this year and can clinch the AFC North title Monday night with a win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
