The Steelers could be making more moves to free up cap space as they continue to negotiate a long-term deal with Le’Veon Bell.
Ian Rapoport reports the Steelers are expected to release safety Mike Mitchell next week. That would clear $5 million in salary cap space.
Rapoport also reported that the team is open to bringing Mitchell back for less money.
